Huge Setback for REDs as Liverpool star suffered injury ahead of Saturday's Community Shield against Man City

Jurgen Klopp Liverpool’s side will face Manchester City in 2022 Community Shield Cup on Saturday and the Reds are likely to be without one of their stars.

Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas is absense from Liverpool’s pre-season friendly against Red Bull Salzburg tonight.

The defender suffered a knock during yesterday training and Jurgen Klopp will not take a risk with him when the team take over Pep Guardiola Man City’s in the Community Shield on Saturday.

Jurgen Klop while speaking to LFC TV, the manager said was quoted: “He got a knock yesterday, so he cannot olay today, and all the rest, we will see later”.

Also, Liverpool first choice Goalkeeper Alisson Becker misses out on another friendly. Making his third successive friendly in a row.

Alisson Becker has now joined the squad as he returns to light training and could return to play on Saturday.
