Arsenal have finalised a deal with Fulham in an attempt to sell German goalkeeper Bernd Leno this summer.
The German international is now heading to the Craven Cottage club Fulham for his medical.
According to The Athletic, Fulham caved to Arsenal’s demands to pay a significant transfer fee.
An £8 million bid has been accepted, which means Leno is free to discuss personal terms with Fulham.
He is expected to sign his contract in the coming days, and may even be in their squad for the opening weekend of the Premier League.
Leno played 125 games for Arsenal, but was displaced as no.1 by Aaron Ramsdale last season.
Aaron Ramsdale has displaced Bernd Leno with an outstanding and unbeatable performance at the goal.
Leno is happy about his exit from The Emirates as he receives no attention anymore.
Leno is currently worth at £5m pounds and he is heading the lineup of players that Mikel Arteta is planning to clear out for £72m.
